Why this site exists

Polyurea and polyurethane are often confused, and the names are used loosely. These pages explain how the two families differ so owners, specifiers and applicators can ask sharper questions.

How we write

We describe how the materials generally behave and what to check. We leave out prices and performance figures because they vary between products, suppliers and jobs.

Use it with the data sheet

Nothing here replaces the product data sheet, the safety data sheet or the judgment of an experienced applicator who has seen the surface.
